The 2024 ASL Showcase featured NHHS ASL students performing 20 songs, showcasing their learning of Deaf culture, ASL signs, grammar rules, and demonstrating ASL's role in music. Divided into ASL 1, ASL 2, and ASL 3/4 groups, students translated and performed songs, providing entertainment for both the local Deaf community and the NHCS family, culminating in the announcement of this year's winners. Thank you Mrs. Cochrill for putting together this wonderful event for our New Haven community.

Endeavour extends heartfelt gratitude to our PTO for their generous appreciation of the staff. Throughout the week, they have gone above and beyond to spoil all staff members.

Kudos to our five NHHS auto students (Brandon P, Jeff H, AJ T, Kevin F, and Tegan V) for their remarkable achievement! In the engine repair assessment, which included students from Lapeer, Macomb, St. Clair, and Genesee Counties, our students showcased their skills and expertise. Their outstanding performance led them to finish 2nd overall in the hands-on 350 engine rebuild competition at Macomb Community College.

Endeavour's family night was a blast! Huge thanks to all the families who joined us, the dedicated volunteers, and our amazing PTO for making it all.

Physical Education and Team Sports classes are learning Disc Golf. With the weather on our side, they're taking their skills outdoors for some hands-on practice.

New Haven Community Schools will seek voter approval of a no-tax-rate increase bond proposal designed to…
*address overcrowding at the elementary and middle school levels.
*allow the school district to make updates to athletic facilities, purchase band *equipment, and replace student instructional technology.
*construct a bus garage to support the school district’s bus fleet.
If approved, New Haven Community Schools will extend the current tax rate for the entirety of the bond, which will not require any tax-rate increase to complete the projects.
If voters do not approve the proposal, the New Haven Community Schools bond projects cannot be completed as proposed.

Way to go, Endeavour track team! We are so proud of you!

Mrs. M.'s Entrepreneurship class collaborated to go beyond the classroom and into the real world bridging the gap between theory and practice. Students teamed up with Greg Windingland from Lombardo Homes, a recognized leader in the business world to create content tailored for students interested in the skilled trade pathway.

A big thank you to Henry Ford Health for visiting Endeavour and sharing health and exercise tips with our students! Plus, the free kites for all elementary students are sure to bring joy and outdoor fun.

It is crucial that our parents head to the polls and cast their votes for New Haven's no-tax-rate increase bond proposal on the ballot for May 7th!

Eight dedicated HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) members from our NH chapter recently competed at the Michigan HOSA State Leadership Conference in Traverse City.
The 2-day event was a massive gathering of future healthcare professionals, with over 2,700 students from across the state participating in various healthcare competitions. We're thrilled to announce that two of our students Dario H. and Lilly G. achieved a top-eight finish in their respective events, qualifying them for the HOSA International Leadership Conference this June!
Congratulations to all our HOSA members who competed at the state level, and a special shoutout to our qualifiers who could be representing our chapter at internationals!

Mrs. Mitovski's crew did a work based learning experience at MyLocker in Detroit. They toured the facility and learned about production, manufacturing, design, and social media advertising. MyLocker produces apparel for Aiden Hutchinson and Ocean Pacific. MyLocker was generous enough to give each student a T-shirt that they themselves designed.
