January's Rocket Resolution was kindness. Each Monday in January, Mrs. Bardy's class was given a heart, and the students wrote about one Act of Kindness they performed over the weekend.

Will the groundhog see his shadow tomorrow? Students in 1st grade at New Haven Elementary collected data and graphed it. They also saw how the "sun" will make the groundhog see his shadow.

Save the date-Goosebumps The Musical: The Phantom of the Auditorium began rehearsals today! Performances will be on May 10th at 5:30pm and May 11th at 12:30pm at Endeavour.
This afternoon, our entire student body and staff came out to cheer on our wrestlers, leading them to victory in our high school gym. The afternoon assembly was a wonderful way to showcase our wrestlers and their hard work!

Mark your calendars. New Haven Elementary will be having their Kindergarten Round Up on Tuesday, February 27th from 6-7pm. This meeting will be for incoming developmental kindergarten, and traditional kindergarten students and families. The evening will start with a presentation in the cafeteria, followed by an opportunity to visit the kindergarten classrooms and meet the NHE kindergarten staff. If you or anyone you know has a kindergarten aged student, you won’t want to miss this informational evening. More details to follow.

NHHS HOSA competed in regionals Saturday January 20th, at Fraser High School. Competition was fierce with all of Macomb and St. Clair County as our Region. We had over 700 competitors in the 56 different events. New Haven had a great day and represented our school very well. We took 13 competitors and had 8 qualify for state competition, with three students scoring in the top three. To qualify for states, competitors had to be one of the top seven in their event.
