Dear New Haven Families:
At approximately 6:50 a.m. today, a high school secretary reported that a threatening voicemail message was left on the district phone. Administration immediately contacted local law enforcement and began coordinating a response, including preparing an evacuation plan for students and staff at the high school.
As it became clear that all district transportation resources would be needed to support this effort, and out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to close all schools in the district.
While there is no indication at this time that the threat is credible, we are working closely with local authorities to thoroughly investigate the situation. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our highest priority, and we will always err on the side of caution in these circumstances.

Our ninth grade US History students recently took a field trip to the Zekelman Holocaust Center. Students explored the museum’s exhibits, deepening their understanding of the Holocaust and its lasting impact on the world. They also had the unique opportunity to hear from a Next Generation speaker (daughter of a Holocaust survivor) who shared a personal family story that brought the history to life in an unforgettable way.

Happy Earth Day from Endeavour! Our students are always making a positive impact on the world.
Over the weekend, Jaden L., Max W., and Lucas T. competed at the SkillsUSA State Competition in Grand Rapids.
Lucas T. and Max W. participated in the Automotive Electrical competition, where they had an impressive showing. As the only sophomores among the top 12 finalists in the state, they advanced to the finals but just missed the podium.
Jaden L. competed in the Automotive Masters competition after earning a first-place finish in the 2E Region. He went on to place third in the state, earning a bronze medal and achieving New Haven’s highest-ever finish at SkillsUSA. Notably, only 24 students statewide qualify to compete in the Masters division.

Students in Ms. Shafran’s and Ms. Koch's classes wrapped up the week with a cornhole tournament. Hard work and great effort paid off with a fun game of bags to finish strong!
