We need your help! National Honor Society is looking for businesses or individuals interested in supporting Metastatica at our annual Charity Basketball Game.
If you are interested in donating a raffle basket or items for a basket, please contact our NHS Advisor, Mrs. Melanie Cochrill, at mcochrill@newhaven.misd.net.
The Charity Basketball Game will take place on March 11th. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Every career starts somewhere, and our CTE teachers are proof of that. From a family bakery, a farm, a fabric store, a garage, and a grocery store to today’s classrooms, these educators turned real-world experience into real-world learning for our students.
This CTE Month, we proudly celebrate and honor our Entrepreneurship, Automotive Technician, Graphic Design, Medical Careers, and Computer Science teachers for shaping futures, building skills, and showing students that every first job can lead to something bigger.

Proud of all our competitors—next stop: HOSA States in April!
#HOSA #FutureHealthProfessionals #CTE #StudentSuccess #RoadToState
Our students are proving that CTE works.
DECA District Winners – January 10 (see attached photos)
HOSA District Winners – January 31 (photos in our next post)
These wins are the result of students taking Career & Technical Education classes that build real-world skills, confidence, and leadership.
Michigan data proves it: Students who complete CTE programs graduate at higher rates than their peers and are far more likely to be college- and career-ready after high school
CTE isn’t just an elective, it’s a launchpad for success.
If you want to compete, lead, and win, take a CTE class.
Happy CTE Month, Rockets!
