
The NHCS will be closed for January 17th. The temperature is expected to drop overnight again, with winds returning causing morning temperatures to be anywhere from -15 to -20 degrees. SACC and childcare will be closed tomorrow as well. Any evening events scheduled for tomorrow will STILL BE TAKING PLACE.

Former New Haven graduate, Taylor Angus, returns to teach a lesson on Mitosis to the AP Biology students. Taylor attends Northern Michigan University and is enrolled in their biology education program. Good work Taylor.

This month, our 8th grade ASL students practiced signer's perspective at the high school. Keep up the good work.




Last week, New Haven's Honor Society hosted "Coco and Cram" for all high school students after school in the cafeteria. Students and staff meet, enjoy coco and cookies, and studied for upcoming exams. Studying and fun were had by all.




New Haven High School US History and AP World History students had the opportunity to visit the Zekelman Holocaust Center on December 15. They heard from a second-generation speaker who told of his mother’s survival during the Holocaust. They also toured the museum with an educator who taught them about the details of the event.






The high school Y.A.N.A. (You Are Not Alone) club hosted a movie night fundraiser on December 8. Students got into the holiday spirit by watching the movie Elf, wearing their PJs, and enjoying snacks with friends.





New Haven High School's band and choir classes shined tonight at their winter concert. Great job Rockets. Thank you Mr. Hibbert for another great evening.
