The New Haven High School Concert Band and Choir brought down the house with their stunning renditions of 'Forever Young,' 'Sleigh Ride,' and 'Believe.' What a wonderful performance and a perfect way to send us into the holiday break!

Roxy the Reindeer and Dinkles the Elf made their annual appearance at the high school to kick off the 7th Annual Reindeer Games. Congratulations to Mr. Wolfgram's class for coming away with this year's victory! Great job, everyone!


New Haven High School students shined brightly at the NHHS Talent Show! From incredible singing and dancing to an inspiring sign language performance, the night was filled with creativity and talent.

This week, the International Save a Life Tour came to NHHS to teach our students about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. Students were able to participate in driver simulations which proved to be an eye-opening experience that could save a life.




The high school put their own twist on a popular German custom to hide a “pickle-shaped” ornament among the branches on the tree. The search was on as pickles were hidden throughout the school and of course one was hidden in the tree. Students searched and collected pickles throughout the day and many students shared that they celebrate this custom at home on Christmas.

The NHHS Staff brought in the holiday season with a secret spirit week! Students were kept guessing the theme each day as teachers wore mismatched clothes, drank beverages out of anything but a cup, and put on their best grinch face.






Tenth grade students enjoyed a trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts. They went on a guided tour based on the hero’s journey that goes with the epic poem The Odyssey that they read in English. If you see a tenth grade student, ask them about their trip!
