CTE student organizations give students the opportunity to lead, compete, and grow beyond the classroom. Through hands-on experiences, leadership development, and real-world challenges, students build the skills and confidence needed for college, careers, and life.

We loved welcoming our incoming 8th graders to New Haven High School for Orientation!

Students were engaged, asked great questions, and had the opportunity to explore everything our high school has to offer.

We are excited to watch this group grow and cannot wait to officially welcome them as freshmen!

CTE Month Spotlight: Meet Our Amazing Educators!

Every career starts somewhere, and our CTE teachers are proof of that. From a family bakery, a farm, a fabric store, a garage, and a grocery store to today’s classrooms, these educators turned real-world experience into real-world learning for our students.

This CTE Month, we proudly celebrate and honor our Entrepreneurship, Automotive Technician, Graphic Design, Medical Careers, and Computer Science teachers for shaping futures, building skills, and showing students that every first job can lead to something bigger.

It’s CTE Month at New Haven High School!

Our students are proving that CTE works.

DECA District Winners – January 10 (see attached photos)
HOSA District Winners – January 31 (photos in our next post)

These wins are the result of students taking Career & Technical Education classes that build real-world skills, confidence, and leadership.

Michigan data proves it: Students who complete CTE programs graduate at higher rates than their peers and are far more likely to be college- and career-ready after high school

CTE isn’t just an elective, it’s a launchpad for success.
If you want to compete, lead, and win, take a CTE class.

Happy CTE Month, Rockets!
